For now I'm happy the way I am

There's something new adorning Miranda Kerr's left ring finger – and it looks remarkably like an engagement ring, according to photos of the Australian model with her boyfriend, Orlando Bloom.

And while last November Kerr's rep vehemently denied news reports from Down Under that Kerr was engaged to the Pirates of the Caribbean star, this time there's no denial. No confirmation, either. Simply, no comment.

"I am aware of the images. However, I am not in a position to comment," Kerr's rep, Carlii Lyon, tells PEOPLE. Bloom's rep has yet to be reached for comment.

What is known: Kerr, 26, did fly into Cannes to be with Bloom, 32, for one night before turning around and going right back to New York for work – prompting some observers to wonder if a proposal took place in the South of France.

After all, also last November, Kerr said, "I've always wanted kids, so someday, eventually, yes, it will happen."

Orlando Bloom enjoyed one of the biggest perks of the Cannes Film Festival as he soaked up the sun on a yacht over the weekend. He happily chatted away on his cell phone, giving us a good look at his sexy shirtless bod. Last night he was just a bit more formal hitting the scene with Miranda, but these two love their bikini time just as much as the party circuit.

It's official! Chace Crawford will star in the Footloose remake, Paramount Pictures confirms to Usmagazine.com exclusively.

"Chace Crawford will play the lead role of Ren McCormack in the film Footloose," Paramount told Us Tuesday.

Gossip Girl hottie Chace Crawford will be kicking off his Sunday shoes in the remake of Footloose, stepping into the void left behind when Zac Efron dropped out.

Crawford, 23, will play Ren McCormack, the rebellious dancing high schooler who launched the career of a then 25-year-old Kevin Bacon, Paramount Pictures has announced.

The script adaptation for New Moon beefs up his character's role considerably -- in the book, Edward is a "a voice in Bella's head," he said.

Said Pattinson, laughing: "You're playing a figment in Bella's imagination so I was trying to do it in a 2-D way. I hope it doesn't translate onscreen as being boring." The hardworking actor is taking a few days off after completing New Moon before the start of the Remember Me shoot. He plans three days off after an eight-week planned shoot for Remember Me before finishing Eclipse before October.
